Rob McCabe has endured multiple surgeries following the April 15 crash, in which he was airlifted to Temple University Hospital Intensive Burn Care Center in PA, where he remains in the ICU, according to a GoFundMe page for his family.
In addition to burns, he suffered three broken ribs, a punctured lung, a fractured elbow, stitches, a torn rotator cuff, and a partially collapsed lung, according to Ann Estelle, of Toms River, the campaign founder.
Rob's wife, Denise, continues to be at his side 24/7.
His condition is being monitored on a day-to-day basis, and he has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
Denise will be his constant caregiver once he comes home and will be unable to return to work.
"Rob is a fighter and we continue to keep him in our daily prayers. Anyone that knows Rob knows his genuine love for his family and friends," Estelle wrote.
